Rani, a master tutor, holds a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University and is currently pursuing his Ph.D., bringing over 20 years of teaching experience in diverse school settings. He is certified to teach in both New York State (K–6) and New Jersey (K–8), is a Reading Specialist, and holds a Dyslexia Certification. Rani specializes in enhancing reading and comprehension skills for students in grades K–8, using differentiated instruction aligned with Common Core Standards. In addition to his tutoring expertise, he serves as the Director of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) for three school districts, taking a holistic approach that nurtures both the academic and emotional growth of every student. Dedicated and empathetic, Rani helps learners build confidence, develop essential skills, and reach their fullest potential.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
