Kelinda, a master tutor, holds a Grade 6–8 Social Studies State of New Jersey Standard Teaching Certificate and a degree in Business Administration, bringing seventeen years of experience supporting and educating students with disabilities. She currently serves as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant at a middle school in the East Orange School District and has experience working with students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Kelinda’s student-centered approach emphasizes growth, resilience, and confidence, creating a safe and nurturing environment where learners feel empowered to embrace challenges and learn from mistakes. Outside of teaching, she enjoys an active lifestyle with Zumba and Aqua classes, traveling, and exploring new places and restaurants.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
