Erica, a master tutor, holds a Master’s in Education from Seton Hall University and a B.A. in Creative Writing from Hofstra University, with extensive experience teaching students from kindergarten through high school in both traditional classrooms and juvenile detention centers. She specializes in language arts, reading, writing, American history, and science through 8th grade, and has worked with a wide range of learners, including special education students, gifted students, and those with diverse academic needs, tailoring instruction to support every child’s strengths. Compassionate, creative, and relationship-driven, Erica is dedicated to building safe, supportive learning environments, and outside the classroom she brings her love of creativity and connection into everything she does.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Whether you’re looking for help with grade school reading comprehension, AP Biology, college level statistics, foreign language or any other academic subject, Teacher Tutors has a tutor standing by.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
