Meryl, a master educator, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Special Education. She is currently teaching as a Learning Specialist (Resource Room Teacher) for grades three all the way through seventh, where she either provides individual support in or out of a larger class. She is ready to tutor elementary-age students with reading and math, and can provide accommodations and specialized instruction and/or remediation for students with special needs. She enjoys watching students who have struggled finally have their lightbulb moment. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls, reading, and going to the beach in the summer.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Whether you’re looking for help with grade school reading comprehension, AP Biology, college level statistics, foreign language or any other academic subject, Teacher Tutors has a tutor standing by.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
