Mariella, an expert tutor, holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education with a concentration in Special Education. She has extensive experience working with learners ages 3 to 21, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Dyslexia, cognitive impairments, and other learning or behavioral challenges. Mariella has taught social studies, science, English Language Arts, and life skills at the middle school level, as well as 1st and 4th grade, and she currently teaches life skills to students ages 18–21 at a special education school. Certified in PreK–3, K–6 Elementary Education, Middle School Social Studies (6–8), and as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities, she is dedicated to preparing her students for greater independence and success in adulthood. With broad expertise and a commitment to individualized instruction, Mariella fosters both academic and personal growth, creating supportive and engaging learning environments that empower students to achieve their full potential.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
