Elyse, a master educator, earned dual bachelor’s degrees in History and Psychology from Rutgers University, where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. She went on to complete her master’s degree in Social Studies Education (K–12), building a strong foundation for her career in teaching. With over 17 years of experience, Elyse has taught American History, World History, and Psychology to high school students, and this year she is excited to add AP Psychology to her repertoire. Her areas of expertise include executive function coaching, organization and planning, analytic reading and writing, and comprehension in the social sciences. In addition to her work with high school students, Elyse has also supported elementary and middle school learners, helping them develop strong foundational skills and effective study habits. After every tutoring session, Teacher Tutors will share session feedback detailing the results of each tutoring session. Our Assistant Director reviews all session feedback to track the progress of each individual student to ensure that all the students are progressing towards their educational goals.
