Nicholas, an expert educator, holds a Bachelor's in History and is currently pursuing his Master's degree. He works as a middle school teacher by day, which means he brings real classroom knowledge to every tutoring session. Nicholas travels directly to families in the northern New Jersey area, working with middle schoolers in Algebra, Pre-Algebra, Middle School Math, Social Studies, History, Essay Writing, and Writing. He has hands-on experience supporting students with ADHD, so he knows how to structure sessions in ways that hold attention and build genuine momentum. Whether a student is puzzling over equations or struggling to organize a strong paragraph, Nicholas meets them where they are, adjusts his approach, and keeps things moving at a pace that feels manageable rather than overwhelming. Teacher Tutors offers talented teachers and tutors that fit into two different qualification tiers; Master Educators and Expert Tutors. Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
