When does the Winter ACT Boot Camp meet?
The diagnostic pre-test is Monday, February 1, 2027, from 6:00 to 8:15 PM. Classes then meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on February 3, 8, 10, 22, and 24; March 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, and 24; and April 5 and 7. There is no class on February 15 and 17 for February break, or on March 29 and 31 for spring break.
Which ACT does this class prepare for?
The Saturday, April 10, 2027 ACT, taught in the Enhanced format that national Saturday testing moved to in 2025. The calendar is built backward from that date, so the last session lands on April 7, three days before the exam.
How much does the Winter ACT Boot Camp cost?
Tuition is $2,080. That covers the February 1 diagnostic, the score report, and all fifteen class sessions, which comes to thirty hours of classroom instruction plus the diagnostic. There is no separate materials fee.
Where are the classes held?
All fifteen sessions and the diagnostic are in person at the Teacher Tutors center, 160 S Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039. This class is not offered online.
Is the diagnostic test included in tuition?
Yes. The full-length diagnostic on February 1 is part of tuition, not an add-on. Every enrolled student takes it, because it sets what your student works on inside each week, including whether to sit the optional Science section on test day.
How big are the classes?
Enrollment is capped so a teacher can work with students individually during timed practice, which matters most in week 7, when review is individualized. Call the center for current availability in this session.
What if my student misses a session?
Over eight weeks, a missed evening happens. Let us know in advance and we will cover the material, either with notes and the practice set from that night or a short one-on-one before the next class. Sessions build on each other, so we would rather catch a student up within the same week.
Do you also offer one-on-one ACT tutoring?
Yes. Some families use the boot camp for structure and add private sessions on one section, usually ACT math. Other students work entirely one-on-one on their own schedule. Call us and we can talk through which fits your student.
