When does the Fall ACT Boot Camp meet?
The diagnostic pre-test is Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:15 PM. Classes then meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on September 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, and 30, 2026. The class finishes on September 30, which leaves the weeks before the October 24 exam for the timed practice each student leaves with.
Which ACT does this class prepare for?
The Saturday, October 24, 2026 ACT. It is taught on the current Enhanced ACT format that national Saturday testing moved to in 2025: English (50 questions, 35 minutes), Math (45 questions, 50 minutes), Reading (36 questions, 40 minutes), and an optional Science section (40 questions, 40 minutes).
How much does the Fall ACT Boot Camp cost?
Tuition is $780, and there is no separate materials fee. That covers the September 10 diagnostic of the 131-question core, the score report the teacher walks you through, and all six class sessions.
Where are the classes held?
At the Teacher Tutors center on S Livingston Ave, 160 S Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039, an easy drive from Millburn, Short Hills, West Orange, Roseland, and Florham Park. The diagnostic and all six classes are held in the building. This ACT boot camp is not offered online.
Is the diagnostic pre-test included in tuition?
Yes. The September 10 diagnostic is part of the $780, not an add-on, and it runs from 6:00 to 8:15 PM under real timing. Every enrolled student takes it. The week-by-week plan is the same for the whole class; what the diagnostic sets is where your student's attention goes inside it, which domains get pushed, what gets extra drilling during individualized review time, and what to practice at home.
How many students are in a class?
We do not publish a fixed number because it moves with each session, but the room is kept small enough that the teacher can circulate during timed practice and sit with students one at a time during individualized review. Seats are limited and enrollment closes once the section fills. Call the Livingston center and we will tell you how many are still open for September.
What if my student misses a Monday or Wednesday?
Let us know and we will make sure the student gets the material from that session and knows what to practice before the next class. With six sessions packed into three weeks, we would rather catch a student up right away than let a gap sit.
Do you also offer one-on-one ACT tutoring?
Yes. Some families pair the boot camp with private sessions on a single section, often Math or the optional Science. Others prefer to work entirely one-on-one on their own schedule. Tell us about your student and we can talk through which fits.
