Robert, a master tutor, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Montclair State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at Rutgers University, Robert is certified in K–12 Mathematics and as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD). As a High School mathematics teacher, he currently teaches courses ranging from Geometry through AP Calculus and brings a strong foundation in instructional best practice and student-centered learning. In addition to his mathematics expertise, Robert has experience supporting bilingual learners and is fluent in Spanish. He also has specialized training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and evidence-based behavior management strategies, allowing him to effectively support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning needs. Robert uses a calm, patient, and structured approach to build confidence, strengthen conceptual understanding, and help all students reach their full potential in mathematics and beyond.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
