Lucas, an expert tutor, holds a Bachelor in Mathematical Sciences and works as a pharmacy technician, a career that keeps his analytical skills precise and grounded in real-world problem-solving. He tutors middle, and high school students in Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and Chemistry, and he prepares students for the math sections of both the SAT and ACT. Lucas has a patient, unhurried style: he listens first, figures out exactly where a student is getting stuck, and then works through the material in a way that actually makes sense to that particular student. The goal is always genuine understanding, not just getting through the homework. Because Lucas travels directly to families, sessions happen on familiar ground, which makes it easier for students to relax and focus.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Whether you’re looking for help with grade school reading comprehension, AP Biology, college level statistics, foreign language or any other academic subject, Teacher Tutors has a tutor standing by.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
