Where is the Teacher Tutors Livingston office located?
We're at 160 South Livingston Avenue, Suite 112, in Livingston, NJ 07039, on the main retail strip across from Livingston Town Center. Free parking on-site.
What ages and grades do you tutor?
We tutor students from kindergarten through 12th grade, plus SAT and ACT prep for college-bound high schoolers.
Are your tutors actual teachers?
Yes. Every tutor on our roster has classroom teaching experience and most hold state teaching certifications. Many are current or retired Livingston-area public-school teachers.
Do you tutor 7 days a week?
Yes. Our Livingston office is open Monday through Friday 9 AM to 9 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM. Evening and weekend slots fill fastest, so book a week ahead during the school year.
Do you offer tutoring during the summer?
Yes. We run in-office summer tutoring from late June through August. Families use summer for three reasons: preventing summer slide, pre-teaching the upcoming year's curriculum, or finally catching up on a subject that didn't click during the school year.
Do you offer small-group tutoring?
Yes. Groups of 2-4 students at the same level, sharing one expert teacher. Common groupings: SAT cohorts, AP Chem study groups, elementary reading circles.
Can my child get help with homework after school?
Yes. Drop-in and scheduled after-school homework help is one of our most-used services. Kids walk over from school, work through assignments with a tutor, and parents pick up a finished backpack.
What if the tutor isn't a good fit?
We guarantee placement with a qualified tutor. Personality fit matters as much as experience.
