Vasilios, a master educator, holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology from Montclair State University and a B.S. in General Biology from Saint Peter’s University. With extensive experience teaching biology across multiple grade levels, he combines deep subject knowledge with genuine passion, inspiring students from early learners to advanced scholars. His love for science was sparked in childhood through visits to the Liberty Science Center, fueling a lifelong curiosity that he now shares with his students. Vasilios tailors his teaching to meet diverse needs, fostering supportive and enriching learning environments where students can thrive. Beyond the classroom, he is family‑oriented and enjoys spending time with his French Bulldog, Tuffy. He also finds joy in traveling and exploring new places, with an upcoming trip to Argentina reflecting his adventurous spirit. Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
