Terry, a master tutor, holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law School, bringing over 12 years of tutoring experience and having served as a tutor, high school teacher, and college professor, preparing students from middle school through doctoral programs. He is certified to tutor a wide range of standardized tests, including the SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, GED, and LSAT, and specializes in AP courses such as U.S. History, American Government, World History, Modern World History, Human Geography and Comparative Government. Terry’s engaging, creative, and student-centered approach combines academic rigor with motivation and fun, helping students build skills, confidence, and self-assurance. Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
