Evan, an expert tutor, currently attends Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ, where he is majoring in Biology. He has extensive experience working with children, including mentoring physically and mentally challenged students through tutoring grades 2–8 at his former middle school, and supervising aftercare and homework support programs. Evan first gained tutoring experience by helping his younger siblings with elementary math and science, and he has since expanded his expertise through rigorous Advanced Placement and Honors courses in biology, chemistry, geometry, and pre‑calculus. His academic excellence is reflected in his Salutatorian honor, graduating second in his high school class. Evan credits his own tutors for shaping his academic journey and strives to bring the same positive impact to his students. Known for his humor, enthusiasm, and patience, he is dedicated to ensuring that learners feel supported and confident as they tackle challenging material.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Whether you’re looking for help with grade school reading comprehension, AP Biology, college level statistics, foreign language or any other academic subject, Teacher Tutors has a tutor standing by.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
