Thomas, an expert tutor, earned his B.A. in Mathematics from Rutgers University–New Brunswick and has over 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring students from elementary through high school. He has worked in math learning centers and taught middle school math, providing both group instruction and one‑on‑one support across topics ranging from pre‑algebra and geometry to trigonometry and calculus. Thomas loves helping students achieve their goals through hands‑on learning methods, and he believes that math at every level is both enjoyable and empowering to master. His supportive approach fosters confidence and understanding, making complex concepts accessible to all learners. Outside of teaching, Thomas finds clarity and joy in long‑distance running.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Teacher Tutors is the easiest way to find a classroom teacher or a seasoned tutor to come to your home to tutor. We have tutors that can assist with all grade levels and subjects. Whether you’re looking for help with grade school reading comprehension, AP Biology, college level statistics, foreign language or any other academic subject, Teacher Tutors has a tutor standing by.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
