Santiago, an expert tutor, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and brings three years of tutoring experience across subjects including chemistry, algebra, and calculus. He has worked with a diverse range of learners, tailoring his approach to each student’s strengths and needs to help them achieve their academic goals. Santiago believes every student learns differently and excels at adapting his teaching style to enhance understanding, build confidence, and foster effective learning strategies. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing the guitar and practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, applying discipline and perseverance both in life and in tutoring.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
